About Peter Klein and Living Arts

Peter Klein, President of Living Arts, Inc., is dedicated to bringing new and unique productions as well as timeless classics to audiences across the globe. He brought the American Ballet Theatre with Baryshnikov and Kirkland to Italy for their first tour. He arranged tours of Israel, Europe and the Far East for the Pearl Lang Company, the Feld Ballet, Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, San Francisco Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, the Dance Theater of Harlem, the Sydney Ballet, Boston Ballet and more. He sent the National Ballet of Canada, La Scala Ballet, and Les Ballets de Monte Carlo on European and American tours. He sent Pilobus, Twyla Tharp and Mummenschanz to Israel. He brought a Broadway production of West Side Story to Europe, where it was the first original Broadway production of this American classic in Italy and France, followed by the first European tour of A Chorus Line, which toured throughout Europe for four seasons.

In recent years, in addition to Porgy and Bess, Living Arts, Inc. has toured Opera Nazionale Italiana in the US, the Harlem Gospel Ensemble in Portugal and Italy, toured the Joffrey Ballett, and sent a production of Broadway Tonight to Japan, Hong Kong, and Switzerland. 

The Living Arts production of Porgy and Bess is now touring in its 16th year, having performed more than 1000 performance live in 17 different countries on 6 continents; including 49 of the fifty United States, reaching a total audience of over 1.5 million people. 


Jennifer McLoughlin-Hoyt, Managing Director 

Mrs. McLoughlin-Hoyt completed a graduate assistantship at CW Post Long Island University while earning a Masters Degree in Music History. She then relocated to New York City to continue her studies and to pursue a career as a professional opera singer. While achieving her dream as a performer, she worked as the assistant banquet manager at New York’s famous Tribeca Grill, an office manager and administrative assistant to the president of American Heritage magazine (a Forbes publication), and administrative assistant to both the Managing Director (Infrastructure) and the Managing Director (REIT Real Estate) in the research division of Goldman Sachs. Jennifer continues to enjoy her many successes as an opera singer and has also focused her attentions on production. In 2002 she joined Living Arts, Inc. as a production coordinator and has since become the managing director. She has successfully organized tours of the American masterpiece Porgy and Bess in the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Trinidad and Portugal. In addition to Porgy and Bess, she has organized and assisted in the production of US tours for the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, the Polish Philharmonic Resovia (2002 and 2004), the Israel Contemporary Dance Theater, the Ballet Folklorique de Philipinas and the Arad Symphony Orchestra of Romania.
